Home > Safety Courses > Course Listing OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety Supervisors Course29CFR1926 OSHA Construction Safety Standards The OSHA Construction Industry Safety Standard is a "Vertical" safety standard that applies to any employer with employees that perform work activities that include "construction, alteration, and/or repair, including painting and decorating." This standard also applies to employers outside of "Building Trades." This 30-Hour WorkSafeAZ safety course is intended to increase hazard awareness on a variety of construction safety and health topics for Managers, Supervisors, and others who have safety supervision responsibilities. Twelve hours are mandatory topics and twelve hours must be chosen from the optional topic list. For the remainder of the class, we can focus on any other construction industry hazards or policies and/or expand on the required topics. Instructional time must be at least 30 hours. (Please see brochure for more details) The 30-hour program is intended to provide a variety of training to people that have safety responsibility duties; therefore training will emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, plus OSHA construction standards. Upon successful course completion, the student will receive a Department of Labor OSHA Construction 30-hour course completion card.
