WorkSafeAZ – Safety Services

Policy & Program Development and Implementation

Improve Safety ... Build your Safety Road Map.

As you know, a good Accident and Illness Prevention Program requires comprehensive and effective policies that are clearly written, widely communicated, and fully implemented through training, supervision, and enforcement. In addition to the written programs required by the OSHA standards, policies addressing the control of all significant potential exposures in an organization should be developed.

If your safety material is outdated or not yet in place, WorkSafeAZ can review your existing policies or develop an entire safety program for your organization.

  • Phase I: Policy Development - The development of a written policy or program specific to your company’s workforce, jobsites, job hazard analysis, and assessment of work processes.
  • Phase II: Implementation - The implementation process can include various communication methods, safety training programs, practice drills, and other implementation aspects, depending on the specific program developed.

Examples of mandatory OSHA Written Programs:

  • Lockout Tagout
  • Hazard Communication
  • Electrical Safety
  • Fall Protection
  • Respiratory Protection
  • Fire Prevention Plan
  • Emergency Action Plan
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Accident Prevention Program (Construction)

Audits, Inspections & Evaluations

Improve Safety ... Measure, Evaluate, and Improve.

Companies that value safety measure safety. WorkSafeAZ provides several services to help your company measure, evaluate, and improve your Safety Policies and Programs, Safety Training, Safety Supervision, and overall level of compliance. These audits can be combined in various ways to tailor the assessment to what your organization is seeking to monitor or measure. Maximum Safety, Maximum Compliance, and Maximum Return on your Safety Investment!

  • Mock OSHA Compliance Inspections
These inspections are conducted focusing on regulatory compliance. The intent is to identify potential violations prior to an actual compliance inspection. WorkSafeAZ will review your operations, written programs, and processes. The final report will identify violations and methods of correction. We can even provide classification of violations and possible penalty amounts that would be issued by OSHA, if they cited the violations identified.

  • Construction Site Inspection and Safety Monitoring
WorkSafeAZ can provide your company with ongoing safety monitoring services for construction sites to help identify non-compliance and potential safety risks. These inspections are independent and non-biased with the goal of providing the company and employees with immediate identification, education, and correction of potential hazards.

For a reasonable fee, our consultants will regularly visit your construction site and review our findings with the site supervisor. The supervisor obtains a written summary report, as does the home office. The Construction Site Inspection and Safety Monitoring service not only serves to monitor the work site, but it also provides the supervisor with a safety check list of opportunities to improve site safety and worker training.

These audits and inspections are excellent tools to help multi-employer/trade worksites identify—in a non- confrontational manner—potential safety hazards that will require input and resources from your Creating, Controlling, Correcting, or Exposing employers.
